Reflect, Remember, React

Black people in the United States have come a long way since 1955, but we still have a long way to go. Support the NAACP, ACLU, and champion civil rights, not just on this day, but every day.

I'm just a little bit confused by this. Don't you see any incongruity in admiring MLK, Jr., striving to replicate his actions, and saying you don't believe in amnesty for people who entered this country illegally? Why should we be erecting borders to keep out the undesirables? Wasn't MLK's dream more inclusive than that?

No, I don't see an incongruity. What I see is that black people were in this country against their will and MLK inspired them to fight for their civil rights. My people sought to be PART of this country, unlike illegals who come here, use the US to reap benefits (higher wages), pay very little or no taxes and are a drain on our economy.
