Snow Day

I declare this day an unofficial snow day. The snow has been falling since midnight, with up to nine inches expected in our area, I have a persistent sore throat/drainage issue that is slowly morphing into a cold, and my house is (still) filled with the lovely aroma of my Winter Pot Roast (recipe to be added). All these elements, with a dash of feather bed and heirloom quilt coziness, has me spending as much of the day in bed as possible.

Of course, Madhubby has already begun his morning commute. But, I think having a warm home (with Pot Roast!) to come to in the evenings makes his day a bit easier. At least, I'd like to think so.
