The Easter Bunny Wears Snow Boots

It's Holy Saturday and all is cold and chilly in Colorado. Freezing drizzle has been falling since last night and the thermostat is permanently fixed at 72 degrees. I'm bundled up in sweats and an oversized sweater. It's soup weather. Or maybe Winter Pot Roast with Potatoes weather. I have the knitting itch, too but Con Law reading is much more interesting right now.

Have I told you how much I adore Con Law? I adore it THIS MUCH. Con Law cases are mini history lessons unto themselves. They are the best and (very, very) worst of our society laid bare. Fun stuff. Well, at least more fun than reading a John Grisham novel.

We headed out this morning to a local event but the crowds and the line snaked nearly around the building. Add in the freezing drizzle plus two adults with burgeoning head colds and we abandoned the Easter Bunny for warmer climes. We'll try again, tomorrow. Or, better yet we'll organize our own indoor Easter egg hunt with the kidlets.
