Ballsy

The first Friday of the month is a Major Committee Meeting Day. I'd been stewing and planning and thinking for awhile about which major player I was going to approach for a job. Would it be the Appellate Judge who is so huggy and lovely towards me? Would it be the large law firm partner who let me sample his antipasto? Eventually, the way became clear and I chose one of the non-profit Executive Directors. A tentative approach followed by pleasantries and talk of greed, then he gave me his card and said he would be "delighted" to have me work in his office. I think that's a good sign.
