A lease was signed today. Huzzah! The place is really cute and perfect for a little old lady. It will be perfect for my spry old momma, too. Madhubby ventured into the crawl space and assured her everything was in order; no dead bodies down there. I was adventurous enough to take a peek into the attic - a snowboard and a fishing pole filled the small space.
Madhubby and I wandered around the rest of the complex while mom scrubbed every non-porous surface with bleach and pine cleaner; we saw several good rental prospects and an inviting pool. The former would be a great addition to the family trust and the latter will be a very nice way to spend a hot, summer afternoon.
