Between snowball fights and all-wheel-driving* in the snow, the girls decided which charities they will contribute to this holiday season. At first, they both chose the Boulder Valley Humane Society, but (1) it's already heavily funded and (2) I was hoping they would choose different charities and spread the wealth a bit.
After some research, and a gentle nudge from me, Lizzie is now donating to Heifer International. It's charitable and it's animal related. Sure, some of the animals get eaten, but Lizzie's eleven, not six like her sister, so she's ok with that.
*why doesn't AWDing sound as cool as four-wheelin'...
