I am so old
It's Saturday night. I'm on the couch, in sweats, sipping a $7 glass of wine, and listening to the Boston-Cleveland game on AM radio. I've officially morphed into my grandmother. I've skipped my thrilling thirties and gone straight to wheelchair speed. I could go downstairs to the family room and watch the game on the television but that requires effort. And sharing space with my children who are bouncing off the walls on a birthday cake sugar high. No thanks. They can have the basement tonight. Still...on the couch. In sweats? So frumpy. Thank goodness I have a great ass (and a great husband) or I'd never get any.

I'm right there with you. Only I don't get wine. :(
I'm in my late 20's so what's my excuse? ;) My husband and I tried to go out to a club a few months back. It was late, raining and the club was really crowded. After one drink we looked at each other and knew neither of us wanted to be there. So we went back home to our son and decided we're just too old for that crap!
@Proto Attorney: You're pregnant! Lounging on the couch is ok for you until at least four months postpartum. :D
@pt-lawmom: I haven't been to a club in over a year. It's easier - and less annoying - to have friends over for drinks. But lately, neither of us have had the energy to entertain.
